Vina Del Mar Island
Vina Del Mar Island is located on the southern end of St. Pete Beach. This island, originally known as Mud Key, has been described as a gleaming white pearl in a vivid blue-green setting. A fitting description for this gem of a community on a long stretch of sand bordering the Pass-a-Grille Channel (minutes to the Gulf of Mexico) and Little McPherson Bayou. Homes on the channel side enjoy magnificent sunrises and views of Shell Island (some of the best shelling, birding and dolphin watching in the area). Take a three block walk off the island to Pass-a-Grille Beach with its world-renowned beaches and a historic downtown with eclectic boutiques and restaurants. If you’re looking for a quaint island on the intercoastal and three blocks from the Gulf, you’ll feel right at home in Vina Del Mar Island!
