A backyard barbeque is the perfect way to kick back, relax and have fun! Thanks to our mild climate, St Pete residents enjoy entertaining outdoors nearly all year round. And with the cornucopia of local fresh seafood available, why not ditch the usual burger/hot dog option for a more adventurous catch of the day? Chef Colleen Mueller of the Island Grille in Tierra Verde suggest adding a Floridian twist to the classic American cookout by serving up fresh grouper nuggets/fingers paired with several dipping sauces and mango salsa. My favorite for dipping is the Island Grille Bayou sauce. Other suggestions for sauces include; cocktail sauce (ketchup & horseradish), tarter sauce and bang-bang sauce. (mayo, honey, siracha & garlic powder).
